Fresha Reviews: What Business Owners Say

Fresha reviews from business owners are mostly positive, but sharply split. On 24 October 2026, Fresha's UK Trustpilot page showed 4.8 out of 5 from 7,505 reviews. Owners praise quick support, online booking with reminders, and the card hardware. Meanwhile, the owners' one-star reviews keep returning to one theme: new-client fees on bookings they say Fresha did not bring.

This summary paraphrases public reviews and links each source. We read every figure on 24 October 2026. Ratings move daily, so check the live pages before you decide.

The averages agree closely across sites. However, each site counts a different crowd, so read them side by side.

The UK App Store listing and the Google Play business app carry owner ratings. By contrast, the Fresha for customers app reflects clients, not owners. Capterra and G2 blocked our reader, so we leave their figures out rather than guess.

The Trustpilot split matters more than the average. In fact, 89% of reviews give five stars and 8% give one. Fewer than 4% sit in between. Fresha also replies to 96% of negative reviews, according to the same page.

What owners praise in Fresha reviews

Three strengths come up again and again in the positive Fresha reviews.

Support during set-up. Several October 2026 Trustpilot reviews thank named agents. They helped owners build booking links, set up a business profile and order a card terminal. One owner says an agent fixed a problem while the client was still in store.

Booking and reminders in one place. A sole trader on the App Store credits online booking and reminders with cutting missed appointments. Their review title reads: "This system is a god send!" (mirror mirror newbury, App Store, December 2019).

Hardware and an account manager. In December 2025, a small clinic praised its account manager on the App Store. It also valued the free card machine.

Long-standing users also valued the old free plan. That has changed, though. Bee Viral's July 2026 breakdown lists £14.95 a month for one person, or £9.95 per team member.

What owners complain about in Fresha reviews

The negative Fresha reviews focus on money far more than on the software itself.

First, disputed new-client fees. Fresha charges a one-off fee when a brand-new client finds you on its marketplace. In the UK, that fee is 20% of the first booking, with a £4 minimum, according to Bee Viral. Fresha explains its rules in a help article on new-client fees. Still, several owners on Trustpilot, writing between August and October 2026, describe fees on cancelled bookings. Others say the client was already theirs. One owner puts it bluntly:

"Using Fresha now feels like the Wild West…"

— Roger Compton, business owner, Trustpilot, 30 September 2026

Second, costs that crept up. A Google Play reviewer in December 2025 says they joined in 2022, when Fresha was free. Now, they write, free texts and emails have dropped from 200 to 20 a month each. Other charges have appeared too. In total, they spend well over £50 a month.

Third, workflow changes. A July 2023 Google Play review criticises an update that hid a client's upcoming appointments. Another, from April 2022, calls vouchers messy. In that owner's account, voucher clients pay in full and then get a manual refund.

How to leave a review on Fresha

Clients can review a business only after a completed appointment. According to Fresha's client reviews guide, each client gets a "Thank you for visiting" message. It arrives by text, WhatsApp or email. Alternatively, clients can review later from their appointment history in the Fresha app.

Each appointment allows one review, with stars, comments and photos. If you cancel an appointment or never check it out, no invitation goes out. Clients can also edit a review within 30 days of posting it.

Can you delete reviews on Fresha?

No. Fresha's guide states plainly that only the client can delete their own review. A review even stays up if the client deletes their account.

Instead, you have two options. First, you can dispute a review that breaks Fresha's policy. Go to Clients, then Online reputation, then All reviews. Open the review's Actions menu and choose Dispute review. You must report it within three months of posting. Fresha then hides the review while it checks, and aims to decide within 48 hours.

Second, you can reply publicly from the same screen. A calm, factual reply often helps more than a removal.

How to get more reviews on Fresha, within the rules

Fresha sends review invitations automatically, so the main job is checking out every appointment. Otherwise, that client never gets asked.

Next, connect your Google Business Profile. Fresha's ratings and reviews overview says you can then track both sets of reviews together. Its Google Rating Boost also encourages clients to share the same review on Google. Fresha's guide to connecting Google reviews shows the steps.

Never buy reviews or write them yourself. UK consumer law bans fake reviews, as the Competition and Markets Authority's guide for businesses on reviews explains. It also bans incentivised reviews that hide the incentive.

What these Fresha reviews mean if you are deciding

Fresha suits owners who want marketplace reach and accept a fee for each new client. However, if your clients already find you on Instagram or by word of mouth, check the new-client fee rules first.

One flat fee, no commission on any booking.

Aasure costs £29, £59 or £89 a month including VAT, for 2, 7 or 20 seats. Every plan includes every feature. There is no marketplace, so there is no new-client fee.
