Aasure is booking and client software for independent hair and beauty salons, and it works in Australia today. It gives you your own online booking page, email reminders, client records and a waitlist. Plans cost A$45, A$85 or A$125 a month, including 10% GST. Every plan has every feature, and Aasure takes no commission on bookings.
It is a good fit if you already have regulars and want them to book themselves. Equally, it is a poor fit if you need payments or messaging apps in the same system, and the sections below say exactly where that line falls.
What Aasure costs in Australia
There are three plans, and they differ only in how many staff take bookings. In short, the price follows your team size and nothing else.
| Plan | Staff who take bookings | Price a month |
|---|---|---|
| Solo | Up to 2 | A$45 |
| Growth | Up to 7 | A$85 |
| Scale | Up to 20 | A$125 |
These are the prices on our Australian pricing page. They include 10% GST, and you pay only for team size, never for features. As a launch offer, the first 200 businesses to sign up in Australia get a 60-day free trial. After that, every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. Neither needs a card or a setup fee.
There is no commission on bookings, no setup fee and no contract; you can cancel from your account. The Australia pricing page has the full list of what every plan includes.
What Aasure does for a salon in Australia
Every plan has every feature, so the list is the same whichever plan you pick.
- An online booking page of your own, with real availability, that clients open from a link. They do not need an app or an account.
- Email confirmations and reminders, sent under your business name. The automated emails are off until you switch them on and choose when they send.
- One client record per client, with visit history and notes.
- A waitlist: when a slot frees up, you can offer it to someone waiting, and they book it from one email.
- Email campaigns and follow-ups to bring regulars back.
- No commission on any booking, and a full client export whenever you want it.
You can watch it work first in the guided product demo, with example data and no sign-up.
What Aasure does not do in Australia yet
Before you compare tools, it helps to know the gaps. These are the ones that matter most to salons in Australia.
No card payments or POS
Aasure does not take card payments, run a point of sale or hire out a terminal. You take payment as you do now, outside Aasure.
No Afterpay
There is no buy-now-pay-later option, because Aasure takes no payments at all yet.
No SMS reminders
Reminders and confirmations go by email only. If your clients only answer texts, factor that in.
No marketplace
Aasure will not list you in an app where new clients browse. You bring your own clients, which is also why there is no commission.
How Aasure compares with Fresha, Timely and Kitomba
Here is how Aasure sits next to three well-known names in Australia. Every figure below comes from the company’s own website, and where a price is not published, we say so.
| Software | Price, from its own site | Worth knowing | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aasure | A$45 / A$85 / A$125 a month, including GST | Every feature on every plan. No commission and no marketplace. Email reminders only, and no payments yet. | Our pricing |
| Fresha | Set per country. Its pricing page shows the visitor’s own country, and the Australian figures did not load for us from outside Australia. | Its help centre describes a one-time fee on brand-new clients who find you through its marketplace, with the rate given on its pricing page. Australian businesses take card payments through Fresha payment terminals. | fresha.com/pricing, marketplace fee, payments in Australia |
| Timely | From A$42, the Australian offer in its pricing page’s own structured data. Its FAQ says the price grows with your team size. | Plans are Base, Build, Elevate and Innovate. Its FAQ says payments are included in every plan, apart from processing fees, and are available in Australia. Each package includes SMS, with extra texts charged at its SMS rate. | gettimely.com/pricing |
| Kitomba | Not published on the page. Lite, Grow, Pro and Enterprise are priced through a short questionnaire, or by a quote after a demo. | Its Plus plans come with Kitomba Pay, its card payments, and 20% off software fees each month. Kitomba Pay EFTPOS terminal rental fees apply, in Australia only. | kitomba.com/kitomba-pricing |
Competitor details checked on 24 October 2026 against each company’s own website. Prices change, so confirm on their site before you decide.
Fresha, Timely and Kitomba all take card payments alongside the diary, and Timely includes SMS in every package. Aasure does neither yet. So if you want the card terminal, text reminders and the booking system from one company, one of those will fit better.
Aasure is built for something narrower. It suits a salon that wants its own booking link, a clean client list and email reminders at one fixed price, with GST included. Also, the price does not change as you get busier.

Common questions
What is the best salon software in Australia?
It depends on what you need it to do. If you want card payments and booking from one company, look at Fresha, Timely or Kitomba. If you want your own booking page, client records and email reminders for a fixed monthly price, Aasure is built for that.
How much does salon software cost in Australia?
Some tools publish a per-month starting price, and others quote after a demo. Aasure costs A$45, A$85 or A$125 a month, including 10% GST, for up to 2, 7 or 20 staff, with every feature on every plan.
Is Aasure good hairdressing software for a small salon?
Yes, if you run on your own regulars. Hairdressers get a booking page, email reminders, client notes and a waitlist for cancelled slots. It does not take payments, so you keep your existing terminal.
Does Aasure work for beauty salons?
Yes. Beauty therapists use the same booking page, client records and reminders as hairdressers. Every feature is on every plan, so there is no separate beauty edition.
Does Aasure take card payments or Afterpay?
No. Aasure does not take card payments, run a POS or offer Afterpay yet. You take payment as you do now, outside Aasure.
Where is client data stored?
Aasure stores customer data in the United States. You can export your full client list at any time.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. As a launch offer, the first 200 businesses to sign up in Australia get a 60-day free trial. After that, every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. Neither needs a card or a setup fee.
