Aasure is booking and client software for independent salons, and it works in India today. It gives you your own online booking page, email reminders, client records and a waitlist. Plans cost ₹1,999, ₹3,999 or ₹6,999 a month, including 18% GST. Every plan has every feature, and Aasure takes no commission on bookings.
It is a good fit if you already have regulars and want them to book themselves. Equally, it is a poor fit if you need payments or messaging apps in the same system, and the sections below say exactly where that line falls.
What Aasure costs in India
There are three plans, and they differ only in how many staff take bookings. In short, the price follows your team size and nothing else.
| Plan | Staff who take bookings | Price a month |
|---|---|---|
| Solo | Up to 2 | ₹1,999 |
| Growth | Up to 7 | ₹3,999 |
| Scale | Up to 20 | ₹6,999 |
These are the prices on our Indian pricing page. They include 18% GST, and you pay only for team size, never for features. As a launch offer, the first 200 businesses to sign up in India get a 60-day free trial. After that, every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. Neither needs a card or a setup fee.
There is no commission on bookings, no setup fee and no contract; you can cancel from your account. The India pricing page has the full list of what every plan includes.
What Aasure does for a salon in India
Every plan has every feature, so the list is the same whichever plan you pick.
- An online booking page of your own, with real availability, that clients open from a link. They do not need an app or an account.
- Email confirmations and reminders, sent under your business name. The automated emails are off until you switch them on and choose when they send.
- One client record per client, with visit history and notes.
- A waitlist: when a slot frees up, you can offer it to someone waiting, and they book it from one email.
- Email campaigns and follow-ups to bring regulars back.
- No commission on any booking, and a full client export whenever you want it.
You can watch it work first in the guided product demo, with example data and no sign-up.
What Aasure does not do in India yet
Before you compare tools, it helps to know the gaps. These are the ones that matter most to salons in India.
No WhatsApp or SMS reminders
Reminders and confirmations go by email only. Many Indian clients expect WhatsApp, so if that is how your salon runs, Aasure is not the right tool yet.
No GST invoices or billing
Aasure does not raise GST invoices for your clients or run a billing counter. Keep your billing software or accountant for that part.
No payments of any kind
It does not take card payments, UPI or deposits. You take payment as you do now, outside Aasure.
No marketplace
Aasure will not list you in an app where new clients browse. You bring your own clients, which is also why there is no commission.
How Aasure compares with Fresha, Zenoti, Salonist and DINGG
Here is how Aasure sits next to four well-known names in India. Every figure below comes from the company’s own website, and where a price is not published, we say so.
| Software | Price, from its own site | Worth knowing | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aasure | ₹1,999 / ₹3,999 / ₹6,999 a month, including GST | Every feature on every plan. No commission and no marketplace. Email reminders only, and no payments yet. | Our pricing |
| Fresha | Independent (one team member) and Team plans both listed as free. Texts cost ₹13.50 each after the free allowance (20 a month, or 20 per team member on Team), and WhatsApp messages ₹1.60 to ₹5.50. | Lists a point of sale, quotes and invoices, and text and WhatsApp reminders. Paid add-ons include Client Loyalty at ₹5,000 per location a month. It runs a marketplace, and its Indian pricing page lists the fee for new marketplace clients as free. Its rates exclude local sales taxes. | fresha.com/pricing |
| Zenoti | Not published. The page asks you to get a quote or book a demo. | Says it is trusted by 30,000+ businesses across 50+ countries. Lists a point of sale, payment processing and SMS. Multi-location pricing is customised, and messaging is billed on usage. | zenoti.com/pricing |
| Salonist | Essential ₹2,200, Advance ₹4,000, Expert ₹5,500 a month, billed monthly. The page does not say whether GST is included. | Unlimited staff on every plan. A point of sale is included from Essential, and unlimited WhatsApp and SMS notifications start on Advance. There is also a free marketplace listing, with a one-time 15% fee on a new marketplace client’s first visit. | salonist.io/pricing |
| DINGG | Not published. A subscription based on your branches and the modules you need, recommended in a demo. | No commission on bookings. Offers email, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns, tax-ready invoices, and card payments at the desk and online. | dingg.app/book-a-free-demo |
Competitor details checked on 24 October 2026 against each company’s own website. Prices change, so confirm on their site before you decide.
Fresha, Salonist and DINGG all offer WhatsApp messages. Fresha and Salonist list a point of sale, DINGG offers billing and card payments at the desk, and Zenoti lists a point of sale and payment processing. Aasure offers none of these yet. So if your counter runs on bills and WhatsApp, a tool built around them will fit better.
Aasure is built for something narrower. It suits a salon that wants its own booking link, a clean client list and email reminders, at a fixed price with GST included. Also, the price does not change as you get busier.
