Fresha Alternatives: 14 Booking Platforms for UK Businesses, Compared

Fourteen Fresha alternatives, checked one by one. What each one costs, what sets it apart, and who it suits. Every price links to the page it came from.

The best Fresha alternatives depend on one question: do you still need a marketplace to find new clients? If you do, then Booksy and Treatwell do that job. If your diary is mostly regulars, flat-fee tools cost less. For example, that includes Aasure, Timely, Phorest, Square Appointments and Salonized. We compared 14 Fresha alternatives on price, features and fit.

We make one of the fourteen. Aasure comes first below, so read this knowing who wrote it. However, we say plainly where others beat us, and what Aasure cannot do yet. Also, every price links to the page it came from. Where a platform publishes no price, we say so instead of guessing.

Fresha alternatives compared: monthly price for one person on each UK platform that publishes a sterling price.

What Fresha costs a UK business in 2026

Fresha is free to download, but it is not free to run. In fact, its pricing page offers two plans. Independent is for one-person businesses, and Team charges "for each bookable team member". The page also states that rates exclude local sales taxes.

The page sets prices by the visitor's country, so it is hard to check from outside the UK. Therefore we rely on two recent UK breakdowns for the sterling figures. For example, Bee Viral's July 2026 review reports £14.95 a month for Independent. It also reports £9.95 per team member a month on Team. Similarly, Slotivo's guide, checked in August 2026, reports the same two prices.

Then there is the marketplace fee. Both sources report a one-off 20% fee on a new client's first appointment, with a £4 minimum. On a £60 first visit, that is £12. Fresha's help centre confirms the fee "does not apply to returning clients". It also confirms a cap for higher-value services and a minimum for cheap ones.

Card payments also cost extra. Bee Viral lists Fresha's UK rates at 1.40% plus 25p online. Meanwhile, in person, it lists 1.19% plus 20p through Fresha's terminal. So a salon taking £6,000 a month online pays about £84 plus 25p a payment.

Still, none of that is unusual. In fact, several Fresha alternatives below charge more per month. The real difference between Fresha alternatives is how costs grow as you grow.

Why owners start looking at Fresha alternatives

Most owners do not leave over the 20% headline. Instead, they leave over the rules around it. In fact, three of them come straight from Fresha's own pages.

The marketplace fee can follow a client off the marketplace

Fresha's help centre says the new-client fee can apply in a case many owners miss. It covers clients who view your marketplace profile, then book through your website or social media instead.

"…view your Fresha marketplace profile first and then choose to book through another online channel…"

— Fresha help centre, Marketplace new client fees, checked 5 October 2026

In practice, that means your own booking link does not fully escape the fee. The same page says the fee applies even if you cancel the appointment for the client.

Leaving the marketplace switches off online booking

The help centre is also clear about opting out. Your profile must be listed on the marketplace to take online bookings through your website and social media. So if you remove the listing, Fresha disables all your online booking channels. In other words, you cannot keep the software and simply drop the marketplace.

Notice periods differ between the FAQ and the terms

Fresha's pricing FAQ says you can cancel at any time. However, its partner terms ask for at least 30 days' written notice. The terms also say you keep paying service fees during that notice. So plan for a month of overlap either way.

That is why owners search for Fresha alternatives once their diary fills with regulars. After all, a fee that made sense at launch feels different in year three.

How we chose and checked these Fresha alternatives

First, we listed the platforms UK owners actually compare. That meant Fresha's direct rivals, plus the tools that keep appearing in lists of Fresha alternatives. Then we checked each one against its own website on 5 October 2026.

So every one of these Fresha alternatives had to pass three tests:

  • It takes online bookings for appointment businesses. So pure calendars and card terminals did not qualify.
  • It publishes enough to judge. Where a price is quote-only, we say so and judge the rest.
  • A UK business can use it. Three popular names fail this test, so they sit in their own section.

Prices exclude VAT unless a platform says otherwise. Some Fresha alternatives price in US dollars or euros. We kept those currencies rather than converting them, because your bank's rate will differ from ours.

Finally, we left out reviews and star ratings. That is because review sites move weekly, and many reviewers are not in the UK. Prices, features and terms are what a contract actually binds you to.

1. Aasure: a flat-fee Fresha alternative with no marketplace

Aasure is booking and client software for independent service businesses. We built it, so weigh this section accordingly. Unlike Fresha, Aasure has no marketplace. So there is no new-client fee to manage, and none to escape.

Aasure pricing

Aasure costs £29, £59 or £89 a month for Solo, Growth and Scale, including VAT. Every plan includes every feature. The plans differ only in size. Solo covers up to two staff, while Growth covers up to seven. Scale, by contrast, covers up to 20. In other words, you pay for more Aasure, never for a better one. There is no limit on clients. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, with no card and no setup fee.

There is no commission on any booking, because there is no marketplace to charge for. In short, that is the whole pricing model.

What sets Aasure apart

  • Your own booking page. Clients book at your link, which you can also share as a QR code.
  • A client list that builds itself. Each online booking creates or updates a customer record, with tags and notes.
  • Spreadsheet import. Your existing client list comes across in one go, so nobody is retyped.
  • Self-service for clients. Clients can cancel or reschedule their own bookings online, within the notice you set.
  • Segments that spot drifting clients. A ready-made segment shows who has gone quiet, and you set the rules.
  • A waitlist for cancelled slots. You can offer a freed slot to someone waiting.
  • Email campaigns on every plan. They go only to subscribers who opted in.

Common tasks have step-by-step guides in our help centre, each with a demo you can click through.

Who Aasure suits, and who it does not

Among Fresha alternatives, Aasure suits an owner whose diary is already full of regulars. It also suits someone who wants one predictable bill.

However, Aasure does not do everything yet. Card payments and deposits are on the way, but they are not live today. For now, you record a cash or other payment by hand. Aasure also sends no text messages. And it sells no hardware, so there is no card reader or till. If you need card payments or texts today, choose another of these Fresha alternatives. Our Fresha alternative comparison page sets Aasure against Fresha row by row.

2. Booksy: a marketplace with commission on a switch

Booksy is the closest like-for-like option among Fresha alternatives, because it also runs a consumer app. The difference, however, is that its marketplace fee is optional.

Booksy pricing

Booksy's UK pricing page offers one plan at £40 a month. Then extra users cost £5 a month each. The page adds that VAT applies to all its services. There are no higher tiers, so every feature comes with the one plan.

Boost is the marketplace switch. Turn it on, and Booksy charges a one-off 30% fee on a new client's first visit. Also, the minimum fee is £5. Turn Boost off, and new marketplace bookings cost nothing extra.

Payments cost 1.29% plus 20p plus VAT through the app. Tap to Pay, by contrast, costs 0.99% plus 20p plus VAT. The plan includes 500 marketing texts a month, and further texts cost 5p each. Meanwhile, appointment reminders are always free. There is a seven-day free trial, with no card needed.

What sets Booksy apart

  • Boost as an on-off switch. You can run it through a quiet January, then stop in spring.
  • No-Show Protection. It takes deposits and card details, and charges cancellation fees automatically.
  • Digital loyalty cards. They come with the standard subscription, at no extra cost.
  • Google bookings. Clients can book you straight from Google Search and Maps.
  • A large client app. Booksy's about page claims 50 million users.

Who Booksy suits, and who it does not

Among Fresha alternatives, Booksy suits solo barbers and stylists who want reach without a permanent fee. It also suits anyone who wants every feature at one price.

On the other hand, the £40 arrives before anyone books. With Boost on, 30% is also higher than Fresha's reported 20%. So Booksy beats Fresha only if you use Boost selectively. Our Booksy vs Fresha comparison covers that trade in detail.

3. Treatwell: Europe's other big beauty marketplace

Treatwell is Fresha's direct rival for UK marketplace bookings. So among Fresha alternatives, it is the one that keeps discovery fully intact.

Treatwell pricing

Treatwell's partner pricing page names two plans, Freelancer and Advanced. Advanced also includes unlimited team members at no extra cost. However, the page does not publish the monthly fee itself.

Commission is published, at least. Treatwell charges 35% on the first booking of a new client from its marketplace. By contrast, repeat bookings carry 0%. The page also states that all commissions and fees are subject to VAT. Online prepayments add a 2.5% processing fee, plus VAT.

Treatwell Pay charges 1.1% plus 20p on its card machine, excluding VAT. Also, the machine itself costs £199. Online payments cost 2.5%.

What sets Treatwell apart

Who Treatwell suits, and who it does not

Among Fresha alternatives, Treatwell suits a new salon that needs marketplace demand above all else. It also suits salons that want deals to fill off-peak hours.

Still, it is the most expensive marketplace here per new client. The partner terms also treat a client as new again after 365 days without a visit. Treatwell's pricing FAQ adds that it does not sync with other management systems. So running it beside another tool is awkward. Our Fresha vs Treatwell comparison sets the two marketplaces side by side.

4. Timely: salon software that charges per person

Timely is a long-standing salon platform from New Zealand, with a strong UK base. Among Fresha alternatives, it is also one of the most transparent on price.

Timely pricing

Timely's pricing page shows sterling prices when you choose Great Britain. However, every plan is billed per staff member, each month. Build costs £22 per staff and includes 100 texts a month. Elevate costs £34 for one person, or £28 each for two to seven staff. Innovate costs £39 for one, or £35 each for two to seven.

Build is only available to salons with up to seven staff. Instead, larger teams pay a capped total on Elevate or Innovate. Every plan card says "No new client fees". Part-time staff pay the same rate as full-time staff, though.

Also, there is a 14-day free trial, with no card required. There are no contracts, so you pay month by month.

What sets Timely apart

  • Digital consultation forms. Elevate adds forms, plus storage for client photos and documents.
  • Pricing by seniority. You can set different prices for junior and senior stylists.
  • Staff targets. Innovate tracks sales targets and performance for each team member.
  • Automated rebooking reminders. These also come with Innovate.
  • Targeted text campaigns. Elevate adds text campaigns and automated follow-ups.

Who Timely suits, and who it does not

So among Fresha alternatives, Timely suits hair and beauty teams of two to seven. Every plan card says it is built for hair and beauty professionals.

However, per-staff pricing adds up quickly. Five staff on Elevate cost £140 a month. Also, a salon with many part-timers pays full price for each one. There is no free plan either.

5. Phorest: retention software for established salon teams

Phorest is an Irish salon platform aimed at premium salons and aesthetic clinics. Of all the Fresha alternatives here, it leans hardest on bringing clients back.

Phorest pricing

Phorest's UK pricing page names four plans: Starter, Grow, Ultimate and Elite. However, unlike most Fresha alternatives, it publishes no prices, only a quote button. That said, every plan includes unlimited staff and devices. The page describes Starter as great for salons and clinics with three or more staff.

Text messages, however, are priced openly. They cost 9.5p each on Starter, 8.2p on Grow and 7p on Ultimate. Elite includes 500 free texts a month.

Also, Phorest offers no free trial, only a full demo. Its FAQ says set-up includes importing clients, staff and products, plus full training.

What sets Phorest apart

  • Client ReConnect. It targets clients who are overdue to rebook, and predicts when they are due.
  • Online Reputation Manager. It prompts five-star reviewers to post on Google and Facebook.
  • A branded client app. Ultimate and Elite put your salon in the app stores.
  • Aesthetics consultations. Face-mapping, mark-up and before-and-after photos suit clinics.
  • Ads from inside the software. Phorest Ads Manager runs Facebook and Instagram campaigns.

Who Phorest suits, and who it does not

Phorest suits salons of three or more staff, and multi-site groups, that want to grow repeat visits. Its retention tools run deeper than most Fresha alternatives, ours included.

On the other hand, you cannot compare a price without a sales call. Solo workers sit outside its stated audience. And if you want to try before you buy, there is no trial.

6. Square Appointments: the free starting point

Square is a payments company with scheduling built on top. Among Fresha alternatives, it is the cheapest way to start with card payments included.

Square Appointments pricing

Square Appointments' UK pricing starts at £0 for a single location. Plus costs £29 a month per location, and Premium costs £69. Also, every plan allows unlimited staff calendars. So you pay per location, not per person.

Square makes its money on card fees instead. Online payments cost 1.4% plus 25p for UK cards. In person, the Free plan charges 1.75%, while Plus and Premium charge 1.6%. Square also says no long-term commitment is needed.

What sets Square Appointments apart

  • A free plan with unlimited staff. So none of the other Fresha alternatives here offer both.
  • Card readers and tills. It works with all Square hardware, from readers to registers.
  • Offline payments. You can still take cards when your internet drops.
  • Processing time. Plus lets clients book during the gap while colour develops.
  • Staff commissions. Premium calculates flat-rate or tiered commissions automatically.

Who Square Appointments suits, and who it does not

Square suits a stylist starting out, who needs a booking link and a card reader for very little. It also suits teams who sell retail products at a till.

However, many salon basics sit behind Plus. These include the waitlist, confirmation texts and cancellation fees. Staff management also needs Premium. And Square brings you no new clients, because there is no marketplace.

7. Vagaro: an all-in-one platform from the US

Vagaro is a US platform covering salons, spas and fitness studios. It has priced for the UK in sterling, which many US Fresha alternatives have not.

Vagaro pricing

Vagaro's UK pricing page shows £20 a month for one bookable calendar. Its UK FAQ prices each extra calendar at $10, oddly in US dollars. That rises to seven calendars, after which extra staff cost nothing more. There is a 30-day free trial, and you can cancel any time without a fee.

Many features cost extra, though. For example, text marketing starts at £15 a month. Forms cost £10, a MySite website £15, and a branded app £50. Vagaro's UK pricing page lists a marketplace listing but no new-client fee.

Vagaro's UK card processing costs 1.15% plus 20p for chip and tap. Keyed-in payments, by contrast, cost 1.40% plus 25p. Watch the free card reader offer. It requires 12 months of processing with Vagaro, or a £100 early cancellation fee.

What sets Vagaro apart

  • Live-stream classes. Fitness and wellness businesses can teach online from the same system.
  • SOAP notes and forms. These suit massage therapists and clinics.
  • An AI assistant called Vera. It offers a "Fill My Books" feature for quiet slots.
  • Multi-location tools. Larger groups get synced locations and data exports.

Who Vagaro suits, and who it does not

Among Fresha alternatives, Vagaro suits mixed businesses, such as a salon with a spa room. It also suits teams of seven or more, because the monthly price stops rising.

On the other hand, Vagaro's consumer marketplace is far smaller in the UK than Fresha's. The add-ons also make the £20 headline misleading. A salon wanting texts, forms and a website pays £60 before staff.

8. Salonized: a low sterling price, owned by Treatwell

Salonized is a Dutch salon platform, now branded Salonized by Treatwell. Among Fresha alternatives, it has one of the lowest published sterling prices.

Salonized pricing

Salonized's help centre lists its UK prices, excluding VAT. Appointments costs £25 a month, Basic £39 and Pro £50. Then each extra employee costs £4 a month. Annual plans come with a 10% discount.

Text messages are bought as credits. They cost 13p each under 1,000 credits, falling to 9p above 2,500. Also, credits never expire. Rooms and equipment are free on every plan.

The pricing page offers a 14-day trial of the Pro plan. It also promises no contracts, no setup fees and no card to start.

What sets Salonized apart

  • A built-in Treatwell listing. Its Treatwell integration works in the UK.
  • Dynamic pricing. Pro can offer last-minute discounts on quiet slots.
  • Loyalty points. Clients collect points as they visit.
  • Rebook reminders and an automatic waitlist. These help fill gaps without phone calls.

Who Salonized suits, and who it does not

Among Fresha alternatives, Salonized suits small UK salons that want low prices and optional reach.

However, the marketplace reach is Treatwell's. Salonized's pricing page lists 35% commission on new Treatwell bookings. It also adds 2% on prepaid online bookings. So if you are leaving Fresha to avoid commission, this swaps one marketplace fee for another. Salonized Pay also lists only the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany in its help centre. So check card payments for the UK before you sign.

9. Setmore: a free plan for small teams

Setmore is a general booking tool used across many industries. Among Fresha alternatives, its free plan is the most generous for a small team.

Setmore pricing

Setmore's pricing page is free for up to four users. Pro costs $5 per user a month on annual billing, or $12 on monthly billing. Setmore prices only in US dollars, so your sterling cost moves with the exchange rate. Also, each staff calendar counts as a user, even without a login.

Pro includes 500 text credits a month for each team member. You can try Pro for 30 days and ask for a refund if it does not suit. You can cancel at any time.

What sets Setmore apart

  • A free plan for four people. It includes Tap to Pay and in-person payments.
  • Booking from Google and social media. Reserve with Google and Book Now buttons come free.
  • Payments through tools you know. Setmore connects to Square, Stripe and PayPal.
  • Pro extras. Pro adds deposits, two-way calendar sync and recurring appointments.

Who Setmore suits, and who it does not

Of the Fresha alternatives here, Setmore suits mobile beauticians who need a booking link for almost nothing.

That said, it is not salon software. Its pricing page shows no stock, staff commission or consultation forms. The free plan sends email reminders only, with no texts and no deposits.

10. SimplyBook.me: priced by bookings, not by staff

SimplyBook.me is a booking platform based in Cyprus. Among Fresha alternatives, it is unusual because it charges by booking volume.

SimplyBook.me pricing

SimplyBook.me's pricing page shows prices in euros. Free costs nothing for 50 bookings a month and one provider. Basic costs €11.90 a month on annual billing, or €13.90 monthly. It covers 100 bookings and five providers. Standard costs €24.90 annually for 500 bookings and 15 providers. Premium costs €49.90 annually for 2,000 bookings and 30 providers.

The page promises no setup fees, no transaction fees and no per-user charges. However, add-ons are priced in US dollars. For example, 100 text credits cost $8. There is a 14-day free trial, and no card is required.

What sets SimplyBook.me apart

  • Staff included in the plan. Basic covers five providers for one price.
  • Broad industry coverage. It serves education, medical, driving lessons and more.
  • A UK data option. Enterprise lets you choose where your data is stored, including the UK.
  • Accounting links. Premium connects to Xero, QuickBooks and FreshBooks.

Who SimplyBook.me suits, and who it does not

Among Fresha alternatives, SimplyBook.me suits businesses with several providers but modest booking numbers. A small clinic or tutoring business fits well.

However, a busy salon hits the booking caps quickly. Also, payments and deposits are not on the Free plan. And prices in two foreign currencies make the true cost harder to predict.

11. Acuity Scheduling: simple self-booking from Squarespace

Acuity Scheduling belongs to Squarespace. Among Fresha alternatives, it is the simplest pure scheduler on the list.

Acuity Scheduling pricing

Acuity's pricing page states that all prices are in US dollars. Starter costs $16 a month on annual billing, or $20 monthly, for one calendar. Standard costs $27 annually for up to six calendars. Premium costs $49 annually for up to 36 calendars.

There is a seven-day free trial, with no card needed. However, Acuity does not offer a free plan. It promises no set-up fees and no cancellation fees.

What sets Acuity Scheduling apart

  • Intake forms. Clients answer your questions as they book.
  • Packages and memberships. Standard lets you sell bundles and subscriptions.
  • An automated waitlist. Standard also fills cancelled slots from a waiting list.
  • An AI booking assistant. Premium adds a chatbot that books for clients.

Who Acuity Scheduling suits, and who it does not

Among Fresha alternatives, Acuity suits solo practitioners who already use Squarespace. It also suits coaches and therapists who sell packages.

On the other hand, it lacks salon tools. Its pricing page lists no point of sale, stock control or staff commission. Billing in US dollars also adds exchange-rate risk.

Three Fresha alternatives UK businesses cannot use

Some of the most recommended Fresha alternatives are not open to UK businesses. They appear in many US lists, so it is worth knowing before you book a demo.

GlossGenius: US only

GlossGenius's pricing page offers three beauty plans. Standard costs $24 a month annually, Gold $48 and Platinum $148. Card payments, meanwhile, cost a flat 2.6%. There is a 14-day free trial, but no free plan.

Among US Fresha alternatives, GlossGenius stands out for its single card rate and simple design. Gold adds an automated waitlist and Google bookings. Platinum adds team commissions and goal setting.

However, its terms of service limit use to the 50 US states, its territories and Washington DC. So a UK salon cannot sign up.

Mangomint: US and Canada

Mangomint's pricing page charges $120 a month per location, plus $10 per user. A July 2026 update replaced its three tiers with that single price. Also, unlimited text and email reminders are included. In-person card payments cost 2.45% plus 15¢.

Its standout features suit busy front desks. Express Booking sends clients a link to add a card and accept your policy. A virtual waiting room lets them check in by text.

Mangomint's payment set-up asks for a US tax number or a Canadian business number. So we found no UK option, and it stays off the main list of Fresha alternatives.

Boulevard: US only

Boulevard's pricing page changes by business type. For a spa on annual billing, Essentials costs $143 a month for up to five providers. Premier showed a limited-time $234, normally $293, per location. There is no free trial, only a demo.

Boulevard is known for Precision Scheduling, which steers bookings to times that keep the diary tight. It also offers an AI receptionist called Beau.

However, its merchant set-up asks for a US tax ID and an IRS letter. So it is effectively US only, like GlossGenius, and stays off our UK list of Fresha alternatives.

What the Fresha alternatives cost a team of five

Solo prices hide how costs grow. So here is a five-person salon on the Fresha alternatives that publish sterling prices.

Monthly software cost for a five-person salon on Fresha and five Fresha alternatives with sterling prices.
Software only, before card fees, texts and VAT. Vagaro prices extra calendars in US dollars, so we counted each $10 as £10.

Fresha's reported Team price comes to £49.75 a month for five people. Booksy, by contrast, comes to £60, with four extra users at £5. Vagaro also comes to roughly £60, with four extra calendars. Aasure Growth is £59 including VAT, because it covers up to seven staff. Timely Build then comes to £110, and Elevate to £140. Square Plus stays at £29, because it charges per location.

So Fresha is not expensive software. In fact, its base price beats most Fresha alternatives on this chart. What tips the maths is the new-client fee on top. Ten new marketplace clients at £60 add £120 a month in fees. That takes Fresha to about £170, above every option on the chart.

Your own numbers matter more than ours, though. Our client lifetime value calculator shows what a new client is worth over a year. So it tells you whether a £12 fee is cheap or expensive for you. For the wider maths, read our breakdown of booking commission fees.

Which of the Fresha alternatives fits your business

Start with discovery, because everything else follows from it. Then narrow by team size and payments.

Decision flowchart for choosing between Fresha alternatives, branching on marketplace need, card payments and team size.
A starting point, not a verdict. Book a trial before you move any clients.
  • You still need new clients from an app. Choose Booksy with Boost, or Treatwell. Alternatively, stay on Fresha.
  • You need card payments and a till today. Choose Square Appointments, or Vagaro for mixed services.
  • You run a team of three or more. Look at Timely, Phorest or Salonized.
  • You work alone and want the lowest cost. Setmore and Square both have free plans.
  • You see clients by appointment, outside beauty. SimplyBook.me and Acuity fit therapists, tutors and coaches.
  • Your diary is full of regulars, and you want one flat fee. Aasure was built for that case.

Meanwhile, remember that you need not choose just one. For example, many salons keep a marketplace listing for new clients. They then send regulars to their own booking link. With Fresha, read the help centre's rules first, because the fee can follow a client who saw your profile.

How to leave Fresha without losing your clients

Moving between Fresha alternatives takes about a month, mostly because of notice periods. Fresha's partner terms ask for 30 days' written notice, so give it early.

  1. Export your client list first. Do this before you give notice, while you have full access.
  2. Run both systems for the notice month. Then block your Fresha bookings in the new diary to avoid double bookings.
  3. Tell regulars in person. At each visit, hand them your new booking link or QR code.
  4. Email with care. The ICO's guidance on marketing emails allows a "soft opt-in" only for your own previous customers. So check your consent records before a bulk send.
  5. Share the new link everywhere. For example, put it on Instagram, Google and the counter. Our guide to sharing your booking page shows how.

Whichever of these Fresha alternatives you choose, start the trial before you give notice. For the full three-week plan, read how to switch booking software without losing a client. Also, our guide to the best salon software in the UK goes deeper on salon features. And if no-shows drove the move, our no-show cost calculator puts a number on them.

Common questions

What are the best Fresha alternatives in the UK?

It depends on whether you still need a marketplace. Booksy and Treatwell replace Fresha's discovery. Timely, Phorest and Salonized suit established salon teams. Square Appointments is free to start. Aasure suits independents who want their own booking page on one flat fee, with no commission at all.

Are there Fresha alternatives with no commission?

Yes. Aasure, Timely, Phorest, Square Appointments, Setmore, SimplyBook.me and Acuity charge no new-client commission. Booksy charges one only if you switch on Boost. Treatwell, and Salonized through its Treatwell listing, charge 35% plus VAT on a new client's first booking.

How much does Fresha charge for a new client in the UK?

UK reviews from July and August 2026 report a one-off fee of 20% on a new marketplace client's first appointment. They report a minimum of £4. Returning clients carry no fee. Fresha's own pricing page shows the rate by country, so check it while in the UK.

Can I use Fresha alongside another booking system?

You can, but read the small print first. Fresha's help centre says its new-client fee can apply when a client sees your profile, then books elsewhere. Removing your marketplace profile also disables all of Fresha's online booking channels.

Why are GlossGenius, Mangomint and Boulevard not on the main list?

They are popular, but UK businesses cannot sign up. GlossGenius's terms limit use to the United States. Mangomint and Boulevard ask for US or Canadian tax details at payment set-up. We cover them separately so UK readers do not waste a demo call.

Your clients, your booking page, no commission.

Aasure gives you your own booking page and client list on one flat monthly fee. There is no commission on any booking. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, and you need no card to start.
